GENTLE MINDFUL FLOW

A slow, mindful flow that allows for real connection and relationship between the mind, body, and breath. The focus is on present moment awareness, breathing life into the body, and then exhaling what is no longer needed. Great attention is spent on postures or asanas that heal, detox and create space. This healing practice is for anyone who wants to feel a true connection to the present moment and love of self.

RESTORATIVE

Slow down and “Bring the Earth Up to Cradle your Body”. The use of props in this practice gives the body permission to take a deeper and longer passive stretching which allows for complete relaxation. Among the benefits are enhanced flexibility, deep relaxation of the body and stilling the mind. Props recommended are: bolsters, blocks, blankets, and pillows.

VINYASA FLOW

Synchronizing breath with movement to warm up and energize the body. Stability and strength postures added to increase tapas and create change while staying in peace. The asana becomes a metaphor for the challenges we experience in life. This will be followed up with a series of Yin poses which bring your body into deeper stretches that target deep connective tissue like fascia and ligaments. Practice ending in Savasana for a deep relaxation.

CHAIR YOGA

This gentle modified yoga practice is seated making it accessible to more bodies who might have difficulty standing or sitting on the floor as well as transitioning from the floor to standing. On occasion the chair may be used as a prop to support for some balancing postures, if desired.
